ANICHE (pronounced "An-ee-sh") is the sonic and artistic identity of Aneesh Borah, an Indian-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and designer. With a foundation in Hindustani Classical Music, Aneesh merges traditional rhythmic and vocal techniques with contemporary electronic production. His work transcends a singular genre, integrating house, techno, trap, drum and bass, jungle, and UK garage into a cohesive, dynamic soundscape.
More than a music project, ANICHE represents an ideology—one centered on accessibility, inclusivity, and fostering a community of like-minded individuals. Through intricate sound design and immersive storytelling, he curates auditory experiences that challenge conventional genre definitions. His performances are not static sets but fluid narratives, evolving in real time to engage listeners on an exploratory journey.
